Gases distribution is expensive and requires technical expertise to determine the optimal delivery option for the customer. Customer's consumption patterns would determine the delivery solution. BOC offers a variety of delivery solutions, geared to meet your need quickly and safely.

Cylinders

Cylinders are the smallest unit of packaging. Distribution cost is high and normally the cylinder is worth twenty times the cost of the gas inside.

Cylinders can either be delivered to the customer premises by BOC or may be collected from BOC outlets or dealers scattered across the country. For Medical Gases, some of the cities have designated 24 hour outlets to meet emergencies. Medical customers have a larger range of cylinder sizes to choose their requirement.

Manifold

Where the cylinder requirement is high, we recommend manifolds of cylinders - this helps to reduce downtime and handling costs during changeover.

Liquid on site storage

If the customer has a high requirement and sufficient storage space, we recommend the installation of a vacuum insulated storage vessel on the customer's premises. The capacity may vary between 3KL to 50KL depending on consumption. BOC guarantees against stock outs.

Pipeline

Pipelines may be considered by the customer from either a volume or convenience perspective. Where the customer's plant is located near BOCI production centre, the customer may have the gas directly piped from the ASU.

On-site plants

It may be economical for the customer to set up an on-site generator to production of Oxygen or Nitrogen. BOC has the capability to develop on site supply systems in various industries like Electronics, Glass, Metals, Chemical, Environment and Food.
